Full lore of the pit:

The Pit (a real thing on my Minecraft world, tell me if u wanna join [u don't need real Minecraft talk to me and i'll show you how]) is a long 2 by 1 pit (disclaimer: it widens out to a 2x2) that goes to bedrock level, and me and my friends excavated a long tunnel and found a huge lava filled cave system, while looking for diamonds a ton of us died (not me though) and they lost almost everything, it was such a deathtrap I put signs everywhere around it (we used to live in a cave system) telling people to go away and not go in "The Pit" as it was named. (And yet I keep bringing new people down there XD).
