He's a volunteer surgeon for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and was deployed overseas multiple times to areas affected by wars or natural disasters. He was still deployed in a SOWO neighboring country to aid refugees fleeing from the SOWO regime when the war broke out. When everyone else was fleeing, he stays behind, helping anyone he could. There he would join Falon and his squad as a medic not long after that when they pass by him.
Despite being a man of medicine and had took the Hippocratic Oath, saving lives instead of taking them; sometime, standard must be broken for the sake of survival. If you want to save others, consider saving yourself first.
