If you wanted to survive in society, you hide yourself from any potential conflicts. If you wanted to strive in society, you lie to everyone. To ensure you are in control, when you were never in control. Someone always pulls your strings. We'll never be truly free. So get used to it. The strings only pull tighter when you grow older. Until those strings loosen and break off when you die. But those strings never die out. They just limit all movement. My point? You ask. Make the most, don't ruin but cherish the time you have left before the strings tighten til you can barely fucking breathe. (And if you're a child, maybe lose the "fucking" out of that statement) Only hide when you absolutely need to, don't hide whenever someone makes an insult online or to your face. Emotion drives action.

Reply OwO So really, when you want to survive. You hide from something because you are unsure you can deal with it yet. And thriving is when you lie to the world that you are surpassing everything when we're all only surviving. Thriving is only severely surpassed living to the point of absolute confidence in ability to do something. It's just an evolved version of survival.
